30 Days Hath November_Day 30

Day 30: Three wonderful things that happened this month.

My life must be fairly boring as I am struggling to come up with three things…*sigh*. Right, here goes;

Starbucks released their Seasonal drinks and I loooove the Praline Mocha. And I don’t even drink aka like coffee.

*

The Ba is actually communicating with us. She points and looks at you…just that, and you try to figure out what it is, but it’s fun. Sometimes it’s easy. Or she picks a book and brings it over and she clearly wants you to read it. Also, when you ask her something like ‚Can you bring me your shoe please?, she goes and does it (not always).

*

Last weekend we wanted to go and see the Mayor, or whoever does it, turn on the Christmas lights here in Tonbridge. We didn’t make it though, thanks to the Grand Prix being on at the same time, however, we went out afterwards and caught the fireworks. Lime’s first fireworks. 🙂

She was scared but could not take her eyes off them

And that sadly concludes the month of November and this fabulous Mememe 😀 I have an idea for something similar, maybe for January but will have to see how things are going over the ‚festive season‘.

Thank you for being part of this, for checking in every day and commenting, and maybe you’ll join us next year and if you are already…see you next year! 🙂

Day 29: Some place I’d like to visit.

Sweden. I am DESPERATE to go to Sweden. Why? I have not the faintest idea. I seem to have seen a few photos, maybe it popped up in some film and I was hooked. It just looks amazing, the people seem great, the whole country sounds and looks like a fantastic place to live visit.

Stockholm would be my first stop and then I’d love to explore the north, the lakes etc. I hope one day we can go. *sigh*

And yes, I do love ABBA. ;p

30 Days Hath November_Day 27 & Then + Now #9

Day 27: Myself, one year ago

Bad Hair Day :S

In the left photo, Lime was asleep. In the right photo, we were standing in a great viewing position, but that meant being right next to the speakers, so I am trying to shield the babe from the noise. Why is the music at these events always so bloody LOUD??? Nobody can talk, the person doing the warm-up has to scream despite having a microphone and it is generally just pointless: it is a running event, not a night club. *rant.over*

🙂 The husband ran with his friend Terry (of Run Rence Run! blog) while his mum, granddad, Terry’s wife, sons and mum and of course the Ba and me watched.
